Guinea pigs are often written off as just another smelly, furry, ugly, pet that kids scream at their parents for hours to get. But in reality, a guinea pig could be much more. From the research I've done, guinea pigs are easy to care for as well as love, they don't bite, and can be very affectionate. Of course, like all good things, the pigs have disadvantages. Like, for example, they need some physical activity weekly, and they need their cages cleaned out to prevent odor every few weeks. But those things, when placed against the advantages, seem minuscule. These pets can teach children (and Emily's) more responsibility. They can be very fun and loving, and they sleep at night! Hamsters are nocturnal and make noise at night, keeping kids stressed out and awake. But guinea pigs are not, and they are awake at day and ready to play. As my research continues, I will continue to update this site. I will also keep up with hot topics and desires, like sleepovers and trips.
